For the Effective Representation of Battered Women in Custody Proceedings...

 

Wednesday, January 11, 2006 through Friday, January 13, 2006 - (Beginning at 1 p.m. on Wednesday) @ Albany Law School
 

This is a FREE training, limited to 20 participants.  This training course is appropriate for all attorneys, including those admitted to the New York State Bar two years or less who have some family court experience, and more experienced attorneys who wish to brush up on their trial skills.

  • Earn 12 free CLE credits, including 2 ethics credits

  • Intensive 2 ½ Day Trial Skills Training, including full day mock trial with real judges

  • Work with a hypothetical fact pattern through every stage of a custody proceeding, including direct and cross examination of witnesses and expert witnesses

  • Taught by experienced Domestic Violence attorneys and Clinical Legal Studies Professors

  • Practice your trial skills and receive individual critique and mentoring
